Famous in Kunming (May 2004) -- Part 1

On the second day in Kunming, for the exhibitiion of my Dad's 1945 colored photographs,
I noticed a group of people working together in one of the back rooms of the Yunnan
Provincial Museum. It seemed a curious, relaxed interplay and I asked Frank, "What are
they doing?" He replied, "They're writing the Huaxia Bank president's speech for
tomorrow's exhibition opening." (Huaxia Bank was a major sponsor of the exhibition.) At
some point three men in black suits and ties came in and sat down. One of the young women
carried the document over to them. They examined it, made a few notes, and returned the
document to the group, and with another fifteen minutes work, the group finished their project.
